Zoomie! Online is an online entertainment magazine created for anyone who's interested in the lighter side of the military, particularly the U.S. Air Force.

The name "Zoomie" is derived from a nickname for U.S. Air Force personnel.  Airmen were called zoomies because of the nature of their business -- flying fast, pointy-nosed aircraft.

The magazine gets its roots from an underground newsletter that was circulated within the hallowed halls of Headquarters Strategic Air Command during the late 1980's.  The renegade newsletter featured  tongue-n-cheek articles and cartoons that poked fun of real-life Air Force events.  In that same satirical spirit, Zoomie! Online will tackle the tough issues, but with a touch of the truth, a pinch of pun, a smidgen of satire, and a truckload of what we like to call "creative storytelling."
