On March 6, 2003, this Air Force C-5 Galaxy landed at Norfolk Naval Station on a runway overlooking Interstate 564.  Because it was dark, the pilot couldn't see the end of the runway and decided to stop the giant plane to avoid running off the flightline.  When the aircraft stopped, the crew was not able turn the aircraft around.
