Jeffery Hall --
the guy who created this comic -- is a contractor working
in Iraq (he's also a staff sergeant in the Tennessee Air Guard).
His comic, called "Downrange," is based on his daily
Operation Iraqi Freedom experiences and is published weekly in
the Stars and Stripes and Scimitar (a military
newspaper in Iraq) . |

In an e-mail
to CHairforce.com, Hall said his cartoons normally pick on the
U.S. Army. He said Army personnel still give him positive
feedback. However,
Hall said when this cartoon was published, Airmen "had a cow."
Could it be he hit a soft spot? |
